Update to the blog

It's been a bit quiet for a while, but today I have updated the blog with some new pictures and some new entries to FiFi's Diary. I have also updated the picture page to be more of an active gallery, which will allow you to click the pictures and enlarge them for a better view. Hope you enjoy the updates! Regards, Madame Valois

Punishment

Image
FiFi is in my service for almost two weeks now. 12 days have passed since she signed the contract that binds her in my service for a year. And in that service a lot is required from her, and to a certain standard as well. This is behavioral standard, but also the quality of her work. If these standards are not met, punishment will follow. This punishment could be financial, being a fine. Or it could be physical, correcting her with a slap in the face. Or my favorite form of punishment, adding time to her contract. In those 12 days she has been serving me, FiFi has managed to gather 16 days of penalty to her contract. So her time to work is now even longer than it was when she started. The brunt of this punishment came from her refusal to curtsy before a gentleman, who kindly reported her refusal to me. That cost her a week for refusing the curtsy, and another day for talking back to me when I informed her of her punishment. Readers of this blog are welcome to inform me of any ...

The Fall

Image
When I took the lady Sulaika Lavie de Beaumont to my office to settle the bet and receive payment on her now 40 thousand dollar debt, she confessed she did not have that kind of money to pay the debt she had just created. I started laughing at the confession. "So you made a bet that you actually couldn't afford to lose, and lost it anyway?" She blushed again, and softly nodded. "You work for me, until you've paid off your debt. Like you suggested for me, I will now suggest to you. You will work for me as a maid." Her eyes grew wide as saucers. "I cannot do that! My peers, what would they think of me? I couldn't show myself at the club ever again!" Again I laughed. "Well, that hardly seems to be my problem now, is it?" ...

Pride goes before a fall

Image
Two days ago, I got into contact with a High Society Lady called Lavie de Beaumont. We got to talking, and found ourselves talking about houses and the places we lived. She told me about her mansion, and how lovely and large it was, and how she loved that nobody of her friends had a bigger house than her, and nobody had a larger serving staff, than she did. I replied to her that I had two houses, a smaller outside retreat, next to my slightly larger manor, called Maison Valois. Which had a guitar shaped pool, I added. A look of disbelief came my way, and the Lady Beaumont said that it couldn't be true. It couldn't be so that anyone had a bigger home than she did, and especially not with a guitar shaped pool. I assured her that I was telling the truth. She decided I could not be telling the truth, and said she would bet me her house was bigger than mine, and that I did not have a guitar shaped pool. So I challenged her. "Very well," I said, "for how much do ...
